Kerri and Dominick’s Vintage Sevierville Wedding Part 3 – Knoxville Wedding Photographer

So… will this be the rousing finale, finish, end, denouement of the exciting vintage wedding trilogy? Well, it’s part three so I’ll leave you to your own assumptions. 🙂  Ready for more photos? I am! Oh, wait! I forgot to mention an amusing little anecdote that happened during the ceremony… The groom’s ring had been misplaced so when the officiant asked the bride to put the groom’s ring on his finger, the best man quietly passed his wedding band along and saved the day. Definitely living up to the best man role, yes?

Here you can see Kerri being lovingly ribbed by her brothers-in-law… and there you can see Dominick being dragged away by said brothers-in-law for what we can only assume is to receive a stern talking to about how they expect their sister to be treated.

Meanwhile, the maid of honor showed off her vintage finery.

During the reception, the three sisters lit candles in remembrance of their parents. You can see them in the photo propped up on the unity candle from their wedding.

Below you can see one of the humorous highlights of the evening… The groom’s family prepared their own rendition of “I am a Man of Constant Sorrow” by the Soggy Bottom Boys complete with beards, a vintage microphone, and laundry to welcome Kerri to the family. Every time I see the photos, that song starts running through my head.

The bride and groom decided to go the non-traditional route with their “cake” as well. They shared some delicious cherry pie instead.

I can only imagine how much their parents enjoyed raising these three girls. I won’t mention what they did… or what they did to the bear statue. 🙂

Not to be outdone, the boys took to the outdoors to smoke their corncob pipes.

For those of you who feel like imbibing a bit on a special occasion, Ole Smoky Moonshine distillery provides a delicious apple pie moonshine for public consumption… as well as several other flavors and moonshine cherries.

Here you can see the facial expressions you can expect to see in the mirror when you try the moonshine… To be fair though, Dominick’s mom took a big swig thinking it was water.
